Students study the strands of Number, Algebra, Space, Measurement, Statistics and Probability in years 7, 8 & 9. The Australian Curriculum v9 will implemented from the beginning of 2024.
Students will be assessed on their knowledge and fluency and in problem solving and reasoning, in familar, familar complex and unfamilar situations.
They will apply their knowledge and understanding to real world scenarios, and have the opportunity to use digital tools such as scientific calculators, spreadsheets and algorithms when solving problems.
